Engineering
The Engineering department at IHS offers a comprehensive selection of courses that equip students with practical and technical skills essential for success in today’s rapidly evolving world. These courses span a wide range of topics, from product and mechanical design to infrastructure development and sustainability, providing a solid foundation in engineering principles.
Students in our engineering classes immerse themselves in the engineering design process, applying math, science, and engineering standards to hands-on projects. They might design a new toy, develop a piece of technology, or improve an existing product, gaining real-world experience in problem-solving and innovation.
Beyond individual projects, students explore how engineers contribute to society through diverse fields, including product design, mechanical engineering, infrastructure, and sustainable practices. They learn to use advanced tools and technologies like robotics, 3D modeling, programming, and prototyping, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities in the engineering landscape.
